Honor Your Parents…..

According to this Yahoo Story the Utah parents that kidnapped their daughter the night before she was to get married, because they didn’t approve of the guy she was getting married to, pleaded guilty to a reduced charge that will keep them from going to jail. In the news article:

Their daughter has said her parents berated her on the drive, accusing her of breaking the Old Testament’s Fourth Commandment, which says to honor parents. She said they called her fiance “evil and wicked.”

The great news is that God doesn’t treat us this way when don’t honor Him. He scoops us up and helps us navigate our decisions, whether good or bad!

Football

It’s amazing how after most football games the players gather around and grasp hands for prayer. The players just spent 60 minutes trying to kill each other and the game ends with prayer. What if we could identify the beginning , middle and end of any conflict we get into? With the conflict always ending in prayer. With God’s pure grace only the end matters, the rest of the game is irrelevant. So why wait for the end of the game to embrace God’s grace?

Glitches!

So what happens when you have a database error and you don’t have a backed up copy of your database?
I am sure I could have figured something out with my host to get a copy and/or probably fix the error…

but I was ready for a fresh install, ready to wipe the slate clean.

A Fresh start…
